Homo Novus
The International Festival of Contemporary Theatre Homo Novus is the leading performing arts festival in Latvia and one of the biggest in the Baltic region. We contributed by creating the festival scenography in the venue locations.
The central opening of a staircase is filled with an optical mass. Eight rolls of 594 mm wide drafting paper are hung through five stories of the building. The unconventional configuration of a common material grants new characteristics, substantiality, and light transfer capability.
